01 A Quarry on the Pamir Plateau
Tasso White Marble: A Rare Masterpiece, Eight Years in the Making
At over 3,000 meters above sea level on the Pamir Plateau stands the Tasso White marble quarry in Tajikistan.
This is not an ordinary stone. Tasso White Marble features a gloss level exceeding 100°, a water absorption rate of only 0.11%, and a Mohs hardness of 4. These specifications indicate superior stain resistance, higher translucency, and greater durability compared to conventional marble.
Tasso White is exceptionally rare—out of every 100 blocks extracted, fewer than one qualifies as Tasso White, making it truly one in a hundred.
Globally, marble of this caliber has been identified in only three locations: Calacatta Gold in Italy, Oriental White in China, and Tasso White in Tajikistan. Its extremely limited output and high extraction costs position Tasso White as a scarce resource in the premium building materials sector.
PFM invested eight years to successfully develop this quarry, engaging international exploration teams and mining experts. For the first seven years, there was virtually no output; however, PFM remained committed and ultimately achieved successful extraction in the eighth year.

What does this signify?
For partners, PFM is not an intermediary but a direct source owner. From quarry to project site, the absence of intermediaries ensures full control over both quality and cost.
Today, Tasso White has been applied in multiple high-end projects and operates under its own dedicated brand identity—“Tasso White Marble.”
The name “Tasso White” reflects the founder’s original vision:
Tasso White — “TA” (Tajikistan) + “SS” (Susan)
Many years ago, PFM’s founder Susan connected her name, this stone, and this country as one. It is not merely a piece of marble, but a commitment that spans across the Pamir Plateau.

From copper railings to integrated marble parquet flooring, curved staircases, copper chandeliers, and bulletproof doors, due to the limited experience of local workers, PFM deployed two skilled Chinese craftsmen to provide on-site technical guidance.
The owner moved to Saudi Arabia in the 1970s to start his business and, after more than 40 years, returned to his hometown to build his dream villa on a mountaintop. PFM worked closely with his architect, providing stone selection consultancy, quality control, and installation technical support.
During the COVID-19 , PFM made multiple attempts to dispatch workers and experienced two failed deployments. Ultimately, five Chinese craftsmen successfully arrived on site and completed the installation. The following year, the founder Susan was invited to visit the villa as a distinguished guest.
Villa in Beverly Hills, USA

Tajikistan National Stadium: Main Venue for the 2026 Independence Day Ceremony
If luxury residences demonstrate PFM’s refinement, then public architecture showcases its capability in large-scale delivery.
In 2024, PFM undertook the construction of the Tajikistan National Stadium, a national landmark with a seating capacity of 30,000. It has been designated as the main venue for the 2026 Independence Day opening ceremony.

From the building façade curtain wall system to the roofing system, from the circulation concourses to interior public areas and VIP zones, as well as five distinctive landscape bridges, all were delivered by PFM.
This project signifies that PFM has developed the capability to deliver large-scale national-level public buildings, encompassing complex integrated systems including structural engineering, curtain wall systems, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), and landscape engineering.
