Better for the Environment
Less surface disturbance and lower impact on the mountain ecosystem.

2015In 2015, during a Tajikstan SPA project collaboration, PFM founder Susan Chan built client trust through a strong sense of responsibility, and advanced the partnership from project execution to stone resource development, laying the foundation for subsequent quarry projects.
2017In our quest for the perfect stone materials, we journeyed to many remote locations—some accessible only by tractor, others with narrow paths flanked by cliffs and steep walls. Our exploration led us across countless terrains until we discovered the White Stone Mountain range in the north.
2018In 2018, PFM formally signed a quarry cooperation agreement with its partners and mobilized teams to the site, initiating mining operations.
2020-2022The quarry project was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PFM resumed on-site exploration to restart the project, laying a solid foundation for the quarry's subsequent development.
2024In 2024, the quarry officially commenced operations, and in June, PFM successfully extracted its first batch of TASSO WHITE marble blocks, marking a major milestone in the development of PFM's quarry operations.
2025PFM established the VANJ Marble Processing Factory in Tajikistan, a 40,000 m² facility located 50 km from the Tasso White quarry. The plant enables full-chain production from block processing to finished products, marking a key step in integrating quarry resources with international markets.
2026 · Quarry Milestone
In 2026, our Tasso White quarry entered a new stage with the start of underground mining. A more controlled way to extract, with less impact on the environment, higher block recovery and better stone quality.

Less surface disturbance and lower impact on the mountain ecosystem.

More controlled extraction helps preserve the integrity of the blocks.

Less blasting, fewer internal fractures, with more consistent marble.

The Chain
Every block leaves the quarry gate and travels 50 km to our own VANJ factory — a 40,000 m² plant opened in June 2025. The full process runs in-house, from trimmed blocks for export to polished tiles, mosaic and finished stone art.

Cut and graded at the quarry face in the Pamir range.

50 km away, where every block is sawn, polished and finished.

Slab, cut-to-size tile, mosaic, stone art and balusters.
